About Us
Established in 1975, GRAMEEN VIKAS SANSTHAN is a non-profit, non-governmental civil society organisation that uses participatory approaches and methodologies in its development initiatives and endeavours. GVS gives priority on community mobilisation through capacity building and skill development initiatives. GVS is a national-level social development organisation with social welfare and development programmes all over India. It has partnered with Govt. of India, Public Sector Undertakings, Ministry of Human Resource Development, MSME, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Women & Child Development, Tribal Affairs, Health and Family Welfare, Culture, Ayush, Social Justice & Empowerment in its endeavour to deliver social welfare programmes for the empowerment of poor and marginalised communities. We have been taking a prior interest in economic and social empowerment projects for the sustainable development of poor people.

Sustainable development, upliftment of the underprivileged, socio-economic empowerment, to empower individuals, families, communities and society with skill and capability, women empowerment are our mission. To build a more compassionate and thriving society by ensuring access to basic necessities for every underprivileged individual. We strive to serve as a collaborative partner, working alongside schools, NGOs, corporates, and government agencies to implement impactful programs throughout India. Through our collective efforts, we aim to uplift and empower marginalized communities, providing them with essential resources and opportunities. By fostering collaboration and leveraging partnerships, we are dedicated to creating a beautiful and equitable society where every individual can lead a dignified life.
